17 Miles is a relatively new, independent bar located at 17 Cold Bath Road, Harrogate (its name inspired by the door number and the owner’s son, Miles). It opened in September 2023 and has quickly become a standout in the area’s growing food & drink scene. 

Atmosphere & Design

The interior pairs industrial touches with warmth and exposed brick walls, large arched windows, wooden flooring, and stylish fittings create a space that is both cozy and modern.

It aims for a “relaxed, quirky” atmosphere. It’s dog friendly, which adds to its welcoming, unpretentious feel.

Practical Details

Opening hours: Tuesday 4pm - 10pm Wednesday to Friday from 4pm-11pm, Saturdays from noon-11pm, and Sundays around midday to 9pm. Closed on Mondays.

Because of its decor, drink selection + atmosphere, during peak times it can be lively particularly on weekends.
